Problem
The process of buying or selling a home in Egypt can be a stressful and overwhelming experience. Many people struggle to find the right home or the right buyer, and the process can be time-consuming and complicated. Additionally, many people are not familiar with the real estate market and may not know how to accurately value their home.
Goals
Sakneen is a real estate platform that aims to revolutionize the way Egyptians buy and sell homes. The platform is designed to make the process of buying or selling a home as easy, fast, and enjoyable as possible. Sakneen's unique selling point is its user experience (UX) that shows users every home on a map, providing accurate valuations to help reduce the stress of buying or selling a home.
The Hypothesis
Sakneen addresses these problems by providing a user-friendly platform that makes it easy to find the right home or the right buyer. The platform's map-based UX allows users to see every home for sale in the area, making it easy to find the perfect home. Additionally, Sakneen's accurate home valuations help sellers to price their homes competitively and buyers to make informed decisions.
Design Solution
We focused on creating a user-friendly and intuitive platform. Started by conducting user research to understand the needs and pain points of home buyers and sellers in Egypt. This research helped us identify key features that would make the platform more useful and user-friendly.
Then we created a detailed information architecture and user flow to guide the design of the platform. They used a map-based interface to make it easy for users to find homes and to provide accurate valuations. Additionally, they added features such as real-time notifications and a chat function to make communication between buyers and sellers more efficient.
